TOOAB is named after Arthur Bottom, one of York City’s most illustrious players.
Bottom (1930-2012) was a prolific marksman for York with 105 goals in 158 games and was a leading star of their most famous side – the magnificent ‘Happy Wanderers’ side that reached the FA Cup semi-finals in 1955.
